We arrived in Athens around 10 PM and were met at the airport by Leo, Alex’s uncle. Alex was our guide on Zante. We could not have asked for a better driver during our short stay in Athens. Leo delivered us to our hotel and picked us up early the next morning for a whirlwind tour of Athens, including the Acropolis and some great viewpoints that most tourists do not see. Later in the day Leo drove us to Rafina to catch our ferry to Mykonos. I highly recommend using Leo for your next trip to Athens. We will.
Since we arrived late we decided to have dinner at our hotel, Wyndham Grand, at “Above” the roof top restaurant. Great choice! We had an amazing view of the Acropolis from our table. The food was excellent! We had lamb chops and spaghetti with shrimp.
