Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Serves: 2 pounds of Brussels sprouts will serve 8 people

Recipe Ingredients

  • Fresh Brussels sprout
  • Olive oil - enough to coat the sprouts
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Recipe Instructions

  1. Cut off the brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves
  2. In a large zip lock bag mix Brussels sprouts with the olive oil, salt and pepper
  3. Layer Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for 35 to 40 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside
  4. Stir the sprouts occasionally with a wooden spoon so they brown evenly
  5. Serve immediately

  1. I line my baking sheet with foil or use a Silpat
