A tour is not necessary if you only want to see the leaning tower and take the iconic photos. We stopped in Pisa on our way to Rome from Florence. We parked in public parking and the kids and Allan made the short walk to the tower. Easy. I stayed in the car, I’ve been here twice before, and had on the best fresh baked croissants ever.
